Welcome to the Black Lion Bowling Club official website. We are a local crown green bowling club that play in the Oswestry & District Bowling League in Shropshire.
We play our home games at The Croft bowling green in the centre of Oswestry, Shropshire.

I would like to say thanks to everyone for the effort made last season and to congratulate you all on winning promotion to division 3.

I would like to thank everyone for the effort made in the first half of the season. With Ifton running away with the top spot we are looking very comfortable in joint 2nd with 64 points. Lets just keep the points coming and hopefully we will be there about come the end of the season.

Well played everyone for last nights result against Ceiriog Valley. With some close games to start with we ended up with a convincing win of 8-2.

We had our first game of the season last night away to Weston Rhyn. It wasn't a bad start to the season with some very close games but unfortunately we lost 8-2.

The new season kicks off on the 10th April. We actually play our first game away to Weston Rhyn B on the 11th (don't forget its a early start for first few games).
